Terms of Service
This is a general template and not legal advice — review with a qualified professional before relying on it.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pinnodds ("we", "us", "the service") — the real-time sports odds data API at pinnodds.com and its dashboard, documentation and SDKs. By creating an account, requesting an API key, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of terms
By signing up, generating an API key, or sending a request to any of our endpoints, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use the service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
2. The service
pinnodds is an independent, real-time data API that carries Pinnacle sportsbook odds for live (in-play) and prematch markets, delivered over REST, Server-Sent Events (SSE) and a raw WebSocket passthrough, with built-in dropping-odds detection. It is a data feed only.
Not affiliated with Pinnacle. pinnodds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Pinnacle in any way. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. We provide the data on an "as is" and "as available" basis, for informational purposes only.
The service is real-time: it delivers current market data as it changes. It is not an odds archive and does not provide guaranteed historical data — if you need history, record the feed yourself. We may add, change, or remove endpoints, markets, sports or features over time as the underlying data and our infrastructure evolve.
3. Accounts & API keys
- Access to the service is authenticated with a single API key issued to your account.
- Your API key is a credential. Keep it secret — pass it as
x-api-keyon REST requests and?key=on streams. Do not embed it in public client-side code, public repositories, or share it with third parties. - You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your key, and for keeping your account details accurate.
- If you believe your key has been exposed, rotate it from the panel or contact us immediately. We may rotate or suspend a key we reasonably believe to be compromised or abused.
- One key is intended for one customer. Reselling, sub-licensing, or sharing access to your key with others is not permitted (see §5).
4. Plans, billing & payments
The service is self-serve. Paid plans and their headline monthly prices are:
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | $99 / month | REST API access, every Pinnacle line, drop detection via REST. |
| Pro + SSE | $149 / month | Everything in Pro plus real-time push over Server-Sent Events. |
| Scale | $229 / month | Higher rate limits for high-volume use, plus push access. |
- Terms & discounts. Plans are available on monthly, quarterly and semi-annual billing terms; longer terms are discounted. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply to you.
- Payment method. Plans are paid in cryptocurrency through our third-party payment processor, NOWPayments. Your payment is handled under that processor's own terms and privacy policy; we receive only the transaction outcome and reference. We never see or store your wallet keys.
- Free trial. A free trial key is available so you can evaluate the service before paying. Trial access may be limited in rate, scope or duration and may be withdrawn if abused.
- Renewal. Access runs for the term you paid for. Continued access after a term ends requires a new payment; we may send expiry reminders but do not guarantee uninterrupted service if payment is not made.
- Refunds. Payments for a billing term are generally non-refundable, and we do not refund usage already consumed. If something goes materially wrong on our side, contact us — we deal with genuine issues reasonably and in good faith.
- Price changes. We may change plan pricing or structure for future terms. Changes do not affect a term you have already paid for.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, sub-license, syndicate or otherwise make the raw feed or bulk data available to third parties, or operate the service as a pass-through for others, without our prior written agreement.
- Exceed the rate limits of your plan, or attempt to circumvent rate limiting, authentication, or usage metering.
- Overload, disrupt, or degrade the service or its infrastructure — including excessive concurrent connections, scraping beyond your plan, or denial-of-service behaviour.
- Share, sell or pool your API key across multiple parties, or use multiple trial accounts to evade limits.
- Use the service in violation of any applicable law, or to infringe the rights of others.
- Reverse-engineer our systems in order to replicate or compete with the service, or misrepresent the source or nature of the data.
Rate limits apply per plan. We may throttle, suspend or terminate access that breaches this section.
6. No warranty & availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
- We operate a real-time feed on a best-effort basis. We do not offer a guaranteed service-level agreement (SLA) or guaranteed uptime on self-serve plans.
- Data may at times be delayed, incomplete, interrupted, or unavailable — for example due to upstream conditions, maintenance, or factors outside our control.
- The data is provided for informational purposes only. It is not betting, investment, or financial advice, and nothing on the service is a recommendation to place any wager or transaction.
- You are responsible for validating the data before relying on it, and for any decisions you make using it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, pinnodds and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, betting or trading losses, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Gambling disclaimer
pinnodds provides sports odds data only. It is not a bookmaker, betting exchange, or gambling operator, and it does not accept, place, or facilitate wagers.
You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including gambling, betting and data laws in your jurisdiction. You must be of legal age to gamble where you live, and you must ensure that any use you make of the data is lawful where you are. Gambling carries financial risk and can be addictive — if it affects you or someone you know, seek help from a qualified support service. We accept no responsibility for how you use the data or for any betting or financial outcome.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time; to close your account, contact us (see §11). We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or where we are required to by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your API key may be revoked. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including §6 (No warranty), §7 (Limitation of liability), §8 (Gambling disclaimer) and this section — survive.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be announced by email to active customers. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service.
